I can’t believe it’s been 5 years. I was in New Orleans in 2005, the year Katrina hit, and it was such a beautiful city. The devastation is heartbreaking - but the resilience of the city’s residents is astounding.

On a positive note: MY BOOKSHELF IS UP AND WONDERFUL.
I can’t wait until I have a house and have a library. An entire room full of the hundreds upon hundreds of books I’ve amassed, comfy chairs, and preferably peonies and gardenias. A room just for me :)
